Industrial and Civil Engineering
08.03.01 Construction
About
We teach how to design and construct buildings and structures for industrial and civil purposes, reconstruction and operation of buildings and structures. It requires knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics, Architecture, and Building Structures. The main content of the program consists of courses in this area.
The presence of diverse disciplines in educational process allows graduates to choose what they want to become: designer, engineer of production and technical department, a specialist in the inspection of buildings and structures, etc.
Program Description
Head of Program
Telichko Viktor Grigoryevich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Construction, Building Materials and Structures
By Decree of the Presidium of Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences No. 5 dated March 20, 2020, he was awarded a diploma in the nomination “Best Scientific work in the field of building Sciences” for the monograph “Theory of deformation of spatial reinforced concrete structures”.
On November 18, 2022, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Tula Region Committee on Science and Innovation for his professional achievements and many years of conscientious work.
He was awarded a diploma and the title “Laureate of the Ivan Fyodorov Pioneer Printer Competition” in 2022 for the monograph “Theory of deformation of spatial reinforced concrete structures”.
Research/professional interests:
issues related to modeling the stress-strain state of building structures made of new and classical materials, such as structural graphite and reinforced concrete, fiberglass, and others, whose physical and mechanical properties exhibit significant dependence on the type and quantitative characteristics of the stress-strain state and can be subjected to temperature and general mechanical effects, and also, the effects of aggressive operating environments; mathematical modeling of 3D printing processes with concrete mixtures and problems of calculating the stress-strain state for reinforced composites obtained using additive technologies.

Training
For the first two years, students study fundamental disciplines and gain general professional competencies, and complete practical training: research practice in the first year, and introductory practice in the second year. From the first year, the student gradually immerses himself in the design process, begins to work in software complexes.
