We teach students financial management at all levels of the financial system - public finance, municipal finance, and corporate finance. The insight into the intricacies of financial literacy at the personal financial planning levelis also a wonderful bonus for our students.
Our graduates can analyze current business opportunities and development prospects, optimize tax burdenon business, and generate information that enables sound and timely management decisions.
Our students gain comprehensive insight into current trends in all types of accounting and develop skills in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

Program Description
Distinctive feature of the educational program is its versatility and exceptional relevance in Russia's modern digital economy. During their studies, students continuously interact with regional employers from all sectors of the real economy, have the opportunity to actively participate in various competitions, and receive grants and scholarships for individual achievements.
During their studies, students are given the opportunity to obtain a free specialized diploma of additional professional education with the qualification of "Business Analyst" under the professional development program "Digital Support for Business Analytics", where business partners are the Consulting Group "Tekart", "SMARTEK" LLC, "Evapps" via the Digital Department of Tula State University.

Training
Educational process combines scientific, practice-oriented and project-based approaches, which involve leading practitioners in fields of finance, analytics and accounting.
For the first two years, students study general economic disciplines in the so-called “core” - a combined stream of students starting their studies in all areas of 38.00.00 “Economics and Management” specialty. This makes it possible to decideconsciously and reasonably on the choice of a future profession. From the third year, students begin to master specialized disciplines in the program "Finance and Business Analytics"more profoundly.
For the final qualifying thesis (FQT), students choose topics from a list of topics proposed by the faculty and approved at a meeting of the Department of Finance and Management. All topics are adjusted with the employers of the region and are relevant for the future professional activities of young professionals, taking into account their career growth.

Educational program provides students with four types of practices aimed at developing professional competencies acquired during training in the conditions of organizing the real sector of the economy: educational practice, (introductory), educational research practice (obtaining primary skills in research), industrial practice (research), industrial practice (pre-graduate).
